Sylvie Fu is based in our Beijing Office, and her practice area is in intellectual property.
Sylvie started her career as a trademark attorney in 2001. She specializes in trademark, copyright, domain name and matters relating to such IPRs. In particular, Sylvie has acquired extensive experience in advising and coordinating IP litigation, and handling trademark prosecution and enforcement matters. Her constant work includes administrative review of official refusal, review of opposition proceedings as well as invalidation declaration before the TRAB and hence has dealt with thousands of trademark searches, oppositions, invalidation declarations and cancellations. She has also provided trademark design solutions and overall protection strategy in numerous intellectual property infringement cases, successfully combating infringement through a series of legal actions, and protection of client’s rights in a comprehensive manner. An illustration is assisting a famous French industrial company to successfully secure recognition of its trademark as a well-known trademark in opposition proceedings.
