With over a decade of professional experience, Rachel’s practice focuses on advising clients on foreign direct investment in China, with specific emphasis on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate financing and tax matters. Rachel has rich experience guiding clients through China's complex regulatory framework, advising on approval procedures, regulatory filings and compliance with relevant authorities. She also advises multinational clients on employment issues.
Rachel is proficient in engaging with Chinese governmental and regulatory bodies, and skilled in negotiating with local counterparts to expeditiously complete transactions aligned with clients' strategic goals.
Before joining Ribeiro Hui, Rachel worked in prestigious local and foreign law firms in Shanghai and Zhejiang Province, she acted for multi-nationals in respect of investment and corporate financing in China.
Rachel is fluent in English and Mandarin.
