Ada Lee obtained her legal education at the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom (LL.B) and is admitted as solicitor of Hong Kong. She is now a consultant at Ribeiro Hui.
Ada specializes in commercial contracts and joint venture negotiations, setting up of companies and foreign investment vehicles in Hong Kong and PR China. She has advised numerous multinational clients on group restructuring, shareholders' agreement, share disposition, business transfer, cross-border business co-operation, employment and other contract law issues.
She has headed various PRC–related projects including Sino-foreign joint ventures and wholly foreign owned enterprises in PR China.
Ada’s experience and expertise includes:
Regular counsel acting for multi-national corporations (particularly from Europe) in various complex M&A transactions involving Hong Kong and China companies.
Leading lawyer in charge of various projects advising German listed companies in a diversity of industries for restructuring their Hong Kong and/or China subsidiaries and business operations.
Managing legal due diligence on Hong Kong companies for the purpose of take-overs and/or raising funds from private equity funds, and financial institutions.
Being retained by Austrian public listed company for legal advice and strategy on doing business in China.
Participating in restructuring of Hong Kong subsidiaries of China domestic enterprise for the purpose of fulfilling listing conditions in the Frankfurt stock exchange.
She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
